Summary of Donations to Tom Smith's Fund for All Saints' Church, Francis Road, Windsor (see the Justgiving page for the total raised for this cause)

Tom, who died on 4 June at age 98, was a member of the congregation of All Saints' Church since boyhood, and served the church in many capacities over the years. One of his roles, with his then wife Dot, was leading the fund raising campaign for the erection of the hall next to the church. This was officially opened by the Princess Royal in April 1989, and has since been a great resource for the church and the local community. This was one of three halls in Windsor which Tom took a leading role in building, the others being the Gardeners' Hall and the Scout Hut near the Maidenhead Road / Windsor Relief Road roundabout. But All Saints' was perhaps dearest to his heart, since he left the Church £10,000 in his will for the 'preservation and renovation of the fabric of the building'. This webpage is to allow Tom's friends, and those who have benefitted from his hall-building activities, and other contributions to the community in Windsor, to make a donation in his memory. All monies received will be given to the Church, along with Tom's £10,000 with the recommendation that it be used to fund a project which will continue his work of making sure this important and valuable building continues to be a place of worship and to contribute to community life in Windsor
